Comedy Central has announced the new projects they're developing, and are not shy about the demographic they're targeting:
""We first and foremost went looking for things that are very funny and appeal to young guys," "There are all kinds of formats that can take that form. And we've identified a wide range of talent that can appeal to our young demo."
What this means is that we can look forward to such gems as Untitled Snoop Dogg Project, America's Biggest Idiot, plus the resurrection of the better off dead Gay Robot. For those who don't know, Gay Robot was a pilot shot over two years ago that was turned down by every network, but became a huge hit when it was posted online. Now Comedy Central has ordered a new pilot, in animation form, that will consist of two 11 minute segments.
Ready or not, "Gay Robot" is coming to TV
